Introduction

Recently, the Riftbound community learned that the new set, the Vendetta set, will bring us Legends in "opposite" color combinations, which has never happened before.
These are the color combinations:

- Calm & Fury
- Mind & Body
- Chaos & Order
In this article, we'll try to guess which champions will come in these colors based on how much they fit them, lore-wise, and take a closer look at this set's promo pictures.
Spoiler: Riot may have already given us everything we need to figure out which characters we're getting.

Calm & Fury

Akali

Akali is the main star in many Vendetta promo artworks, and guess what: She is shown as green and red.
Not to mention that this character matches these Domains pretty well because in her story she relies heavily on being focused, or on being calm, to unleash feats of fury or power.
In the artwork above, she appears with red eyes, which may also be a sign she is "furious".
It's almost certain she will be the green/red character in this set.
Kindred

Another character that could show up in Calm & Fury colors is Kindred.
Their theme centers completely around the sheep giving people quiet deaths, while the wolf gives them violent ends.
This duality matches these Domains pretty well. But it's not likely they'll be the Calm & Fury character in this set because Akali will already take up this spot.
Mind & Body

Dr. Mundo

This character matches Mind and Body pretty well, concept-wise. He is a mad scientist that became a monster once one of his experiments went wrong, so he's Riot's own Hulk.
Currently, he is already in the game as a Mind character, which could also be a strong sign his Legend version is about to be released.
Unlike other beefy characters, he is not at all calm, and his personality really doesn't fit Order either.
Nonetheless, he would fit the Chaos domain. Riot might be setting up his Legend version to be released as a purple/blue card in the future.
Ambessa

In one of the Vendetta promo artworks, we can see Ambessa. She is also a strong candidate for the post of the first blue/orange Legend to be released in the game.
Considering how Riot usually does things, it's possible they already gave us the answers to these questions in their first promo artwork released for this set.
Particularly, though, I believe Ambessa fits Order or Fury a lot more than Mind.
She is an extremely strong and influential Noxian general, which doesn't really fit Mind as a Domain. Mind characters are usually introspective, wise, intelligent, or "street-smart".
Characters like Swain, Ekko, Zilean, and Ryze would fit Mind a lot more than Ambessa. However, as she shows up in the promo artworks, we can expect her to be the blue/orange card in this set.
Udyr

Another character that really fits these colors is Udyr. His entire theme centers around balancing the mind and the body.
He is beefy but wise. He uses strength to reach his goals, as well as complex techniques.
The problem is that Udyr doesn't really fit the name of the set, Vendetta, and, as a result, he is probably the least likely champion we'll get in these colors.
Chaos & Order

Mel Medarda

Mel also shows up in the Vendetta artworks, and, personally, I believe she really fits Order and Chaos.
She is deeply involved in Runeterra politics, which really fits Order as a concept. Other yellow characters, like Azir and Darius, are also like this.
On top of it all, she is also a mage and a pretty complex character, with a traumatic past. She would go really well in purple.
She'll most likely be the new yellow/purple character. But there is another character that could come in these colors. It would be a waste if he didn't.
Jhin

Jhin is the perfect character for these colors.
Everything about him is a combination of order and chaos: he turns death and despair into beautiful art.
He might bring chaos to people's lives, but he also works under pretty strict rules and commits his crimes in an orderly and well-thought-out manner.
Just like me, most of the community wants Jhin to be released in Riftbound in these colors. He is pretty popular in other games and should be an exceptional character in Riftbound as well!
