Combat Chef is best suited for a midrange or tempo Equipment-focused deck—especially one that runs multiple high-impact Equipment pieces and wants to cheat on equip costs to swing tempo the turn it comes down. Decks built around re-equipping powerful weapons (or moving a key Equipment off a small early unit onto a sturdier midgame body) benefit most, since Weaponmaster effectively refunds a rainbow rune and bypasses normal attachment limits, enabling surprise power spikes or immediate value. It’s strongest where Equipment has strong on-attach or scaling effects, and where board presence matters more than raw stats.
