About Hallowed Tomb
Hallowed Tomb, Battlefield, designed by Kudos Productions first released in Mar, 2026 in the set Origins.
Hallowed Tomb is best suited for a Champion-centric or recursion-based deck that either expects its Chosen Champion to be removed frequently or actively wants to cycle it into the trash for value, since it provides a zero-cost way to restore your Champion when holding the Battlefield; this makes it particularly appealing in grindy, control, or attrition strategies that can reliably secure and maintain board presence. However, its usefulness is highly conditional—it does nothing unless your Champion is already in the trash and your Champion Zone is empty, so in faster or more proactive decks it can become a dead card. If there are more flexible resurrection or recursion options in Riftbound that return Champions (or any key unit) without requiring you to hold a specific Battlefield, those would generally be better due to broader applicability and lower setup cost. As such, Hallowed Tomb should see play primarily in decks built to exploit Champion death and Battlefield control consistent
