Alpha Strike fits best in aggressive or midrange decks that stack Might on a single high-power unit and can reliably set up wide enemy boards to maximize the split damage and XP gain, particularly in builds that snowball off experience counters or benefit from on-kill triggers. It’s strongest in decks that can buff a unit’s Might temporarily (combat tricks, auras, or momentum effects) so the damage spread becomes a pseudo-board wipe while generating multiple XP, making it especially potent against swarm strategies. However, in more control-oriented or low-Might builds it will often underperform, as splitting modest damage rarely secures kills.
