Vendetta is still a few months away, but it is already a highly expected set because of the "forbidden" Domain combinations and because it centers around rivalries. We already know 7 of the 9 legends in this set, so let's go over some theories about the last 2 legends!

Today, let's go over some theories regarding the last two legends in Vendetta.

If you don't know, the 4th Riftbound set will be called Vendetta and feature 9 new legends. This set is all about rivalries, and for the first time we'll see "forbidden" color combinations, such as green and red, orange and blue, and yellow and purple.

Out of these 9 legends, only 2 weren't revealed yet. So, let's go over a few champions that could be a part of Vendetta.

Jayce & Xerath

Our first theory is that Vendetta is split into three groups of three. The Ionia group, the Shurima group, and the Arcane group.

The Ionia group already includes Akali, Zed, and Shen.

The Shurima group includes Nasus and Renekton. And the Arcane group includes Mel and Ambessa.

Considering Ekko is already confirmed in the 5th Riftbound set, Jayce is the last Arcane character to be released in Riftbound. There is already a Jayce card in the game as well, so expecting him now makes even more sense.

As for Xerath, he connects Nasus and Renekton and completes the Shurima Ascended trio, and this trio is all about rivalries. In Unleashed, we got a Xerath card as well, so it's just like the Jayce situation. It would make a lot of sense if he were released now.

Udyr & Karthus or Aurelion Sol & Viego

Just like Unleashed gave us legends that weren't linked directly to the jungle, Vendetta could give us legends that aren't exactly linked to the rivalry theme.

So, one of our theories is that Ambessa and Mel won't be legends in opposite Domains (Mind Body & Chaos Order). To complete the roster of characters in opposite Domains, the champions that make more sense in these colors are Udyr and Karthus or Aurelion Sol and Viego.

Udyr is already in the game as an orange champion, and the same goes for Karthus. Udyr is also one of the few characters that fits Body and Mind, considering he is all about "being one with your body and mind". As for Karthus, he fits the Chaos and Order theme sort of accidentally, as many Shadow Isles cards come in these Domain colors.

Aurelion Sol fits Body and Mind because the entire Dragon kit is orange, and many cards tied to him in Legends of Runeterra are blue in Riftbound, like Singularity and Falling Comet. As for Viego, he is another Shadow Isles character that could be released in Unleashed because Shadow Isles characters (nearly all of them) fit Chaos and Order as a theme.

Morgana and Kayle

Our last theory is that the last two legends missing are two rivals that don't have anything to do with the other legends in this set.

The most iconic rivalry in League of Legends (aside from the ones we already mentioned) is Morgana and Kayle's rivalry.

This is the weakest theory in this article because neither of them has shown up in Riftbound yet, and finding Domain colors that make sense for them is pretty difficult.
