Monch is best suited for a tempo‑midrange or control deck that can reliably stun opposing units, since its cost reduction and entering ready are conditional on the opponent already having a stunned unit; decks built around repeatable stun effects, tap/freeze mechanics, or combat tricks that disable blockers will consistently unlock its discounted 4‑cost body and immediate impact, making it a strong swing play that pressures while maintaining tempo. It is less effective in aggressive decks that don’t run stun support, because at full cost (6) it needs to provide above‑rate stats or a powerful ability to justify inclusion. Whether there are better cards depends on the card pool, but generally unconditional 5–6 cost threats with built‑in protection or guaranteed value (such as units that draw cards, remove threats on entry, or have innate readiness) can be more consistent than a conditional cost‑reduction card; if the meta has reliable stun enablers and midrange mirrors, Monch should see
