It is weaker in swarm decks or board-centric strategies where multiple friendly units commonly share a location, since it will frequently only grant +1 :rb_might:. In terms of power level, any 1-cost reaction that grants an unconditional +2 :rb_might: (or +1 :rb_might: plus an additional keyword like Shield or First Strike) would generally be better because it lacks the positional restriction, making it more reliable.
